Trace and Ultratrace Analysis of Organick Pollutants

Definition of analytical process in ultra-trace analysis, combination of analyte/matrix. Basic characteristics of analytical process in ultra-trace analysis; AOAC methods, ISO methods for trace analysis. Techniques of pre-treatment of sample for given field, problems of homogeneity of samples. Isotope techniques applied in ultra-trace analysis of biotic and abiotic samples and their comparison with other methods. Statistical methods of evaluation suitable for ultra-trace analysis.

Acquisition of knowledge essential for performance of ultra-trace analysis and for interpretation of results obtained by this method

The course uses teaching methods in form of individual consultation. The e-learning system (LMS Moodle) is available to teachers and students.

Oral examination in which knowledge acquired from lecture study texts and also from recommended literature is checked
