The subject acquaints the students with methods of research, development and homologation testing of motor vehicles in general, as well as testing methods for verifying the operability and life aspects of gear groups, undercarriages and tires. By passing this subject the student should acquire an opinion relating to the importance of testing as an indivisible part of vehicle design, and also basic knowledge of the methodology of field testing and laboratory tests for the verification of mass and performance related parameters of vehicles.
