Prerequisites

Professinal knowledge and overview gained in the master degree study of architecture and urban design. Knowledge of the work using computer-aided methods. Knowledge of general software and basic CAD methods.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Oral examination. Submission of the required seminar works whose evaluation is included into the final total result of the examination by 1/2.

Aims

Synoptic overview of computer-aided and exact methods in urban design and land planning, subsequently oriented to their application to the thesis.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance of at least 3 seminars, obligatory participation in and presentation at the final seminar. In case of 2 or more missed seminars, alternative seminar work.
