1. Hydroinformatics in water management.
2. Information and communication technologies applied in hydroinformatics.
3.-4. Acquisition and processing of input data.
5. Simulation models.
6. Processing of model’s output data.
7.-8. Rainfall-runoff models.
9.-10. Modelling of water flow in open channels and floodplains.
11.-12. Ground water flow modelling.
13.-14. Pipe system flow modelling.

Aims

The goals of the course are:
to teach the principles and operation of hydroinformatics in water management;
to give information about input data and simulation models in water management;
to develop individual experience in the use of hydroinformatics through execution of a term projects.
