Learning outcomes of the course unit

A practical overview of the foundations of public health engineering. Basic knowledge in renewable energy and heating. Orientation in basic air conditioning system. The issue of condensing techniques. Overview of the fire pipelines.

Prerequisites

Thermal technique.

Co-requisites

Ventilation and heating.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. Lectures are presented using the projector in the auditorium. During the classes are short excursion to the laboratories of the Institute of Building Services.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Attendance to exercise. Submitting the protocols of exercise in the credit week. Writing a written test at a satisfactory grade.

Current systems of environmental engineering. Creation of environment in the buildings by technical equipments systems. Technical equipment application for typical buildings.
