Get an overview of the energy evaluation methods at home and abroad. Methods of energy evaluation systems, heating, air conditioning, etc. Basics of thermovision camera. Knowledge of an energy audit. Ability to perform energy certification of buildings. Economic evaluation of cost-cutting measures.

Basic knowledge of heating, ventilation, mathematics, physics, economics.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. Lectures are presented using the projector in the auditorium. Exercise is taught in a computer lab. During the classes are short excursion to the laboratories of the Institute of Building Services.

Attendance of exercise. Submitting the protocols of exercise in the credit week. Writing a written test at a satisfactory grade.
