This course is a follow-up from the previous grade. Students continue developing their projects to the form of Diploma Work during this course. Literature study,business processes analysis, diploma work formulating, and methodological training are the basic activities.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

After graduation of this course the students are oriented to work with technical literature and to discuss with people about the technical problems.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of Quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14000). Knowledge of accreditation and certification systems (EN ISO/IEC 17025, EN 45000). Knowledge of safety engineering (OHSAS 18001). Presentation of the results of the measurements. Measurement management systems. Certification of products (CE Declaration of Conformity, CE).

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Three (minimum)consultations with the leader of Diploma Work. Written essay with solution of the Diploma Work technical problems.

Preparation and elaboration of Diploma Work parts. Elaboration of technical text practising.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
