System Integration

Emphasis is placed on acquainting students with the system´s management principles, the foundations of modern applied cybernetics, and overview of management and communication of information for adaptive information and communications systems. A real system modelling in a hierarchical system integrating dynamic and timing of systems management at the strategic and tactical level.
A clarification of the conceptual apparatuses of the system integration of information and communication system. A description of the provision of information services in an environment defined by integrating, in particular enterprise. Possibilities of metrics and measuring the benefits of system integration in e-commerce information in the modern information society.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will know the basic methods for designing simple models of integrated information and communication technologies, modelling structures integrating environmental information and communication systems and their prospects in the information society.

Prerequisites

Working with graphs and matrices, set dependencies observations, logic functions, information literacy at the level of modern higher education academic specialization and the corresponding orientation in the basic economic categories at the profile of the graduate field of study. It is presumed ability to work with our students and foreign language literature in modern electronic stores information resources of the world.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Methods of teaching depends on the planning of lessons and are described in Article 7 of the Study and Examination Regulations of BUT.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The blocks are made of planned follow-up of progressive PC processing a given task (essay) and the presentation of the results generated. Active student's work is continually assessed a maximum of 40 points. Successful processing and presentation of its task (essay) is rated up to 60 points. Total points for the credit is at least 70 points.

Examination Requirements: Each student shall submit the specified job in the form of seminar and oral examination indicating further possible alternative solutions provable processed essay. The primary requirement is the student's active knowledge of PC, especially when searching for new information systems integration in the world of electronic trading information.

Aims

The course is designed to integrate the knowledge base system integrating information and communication technologies and the corresponding basic economic categories

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Checking results of independent work on assigned tasks during the processing of assignments. Replacement missed duly excused absence from classes is also kept as a spare organized work with the development of a new task and its evaluation according to criteria for granting credit.
