Introduction to Law

Introduction to study of legislation. Law, system of law and precept of law, realization law, constitutional law, administrative law, system organs of administration, justice, prosecution, legal profession, notary's office, civil law, commercial and trade law, criminal law, international law. Legal regulations editing activity organs territorial and administration in the area crisis planning and management, safety and protection of the state, prevention and liquidation accidents, crisis planning and management, protection of environment, protection population, role and position IRS, competence Fire rescue brigade, health rescue services, police of CR, Army of the Czech Republic at problem solving crisis and extreme situations, economic disposal for solving crisis situations, treatment of informations and papers, labour protection and health protection.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The students will acquire information on the law, especially about public law: administrative law and European law.

Prerequisites

Knowledge at the level of a secondary school graduate, current information on the bases of the political system of the Czech Republic, general knowledge.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

By means of an exam granted at the end of the relevant term.
Presuppositions of passing of exam: Successful result in the final test in writing

Aims

The subject is focused on strengthening and extending the elementary legal consciousness of the students and on helping them orientate in the law order of the Czech Republic in force, in particular in the field of public law

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The participation in the lecture-courses is not compulsory. For the students of a combined study form consultations are available. Each of students has to take part in consultation weekly and problems of subject are solved.
