Laboratory Classes in Hydrobiology

FCH-BCO_HYB_PAcad. year: 2011/2012

Field trips aimed on water ecosystems and their typical biocoenoses in countryside. Summary of basic methods for determination of quantitative and qualitative hydrobiological analysis, base of microscopic technique and the basic principles of sampling of water. The sampling and consequent analysis of sample of activated sludge from waste-treatment plant, introduction of others methods of determination of microorganisms in waste water. The sampling and consequent analysis of samples of flowing and standing water. Determination of index of saprobity. Excursions of laboratories examining hydrobiological and microbiological qualities of water.
