Students will master selected chapters of advanced colloid chemistry which are related to their dissertation work.

Prerequisites

University level of physical chemistry (esp. thermodynamics, electrochemistry, colloid chemistry), physics (especially electrical field) and mathematics (calculus).

Colloquy including oral lecture on given topic.

Course curriculum

Surface tension and contact angle.
Associating colloids of tensides.
Associating colloids formed by (bio)polymers.
Ultrasound spectroscopy in colloid chemistry.
Gels.

Students will elaborate theoretical and practical knowledge on chemistry of colloidal systems and related areas.
