Risks in select industrial and agricultural plans, in transport, on pipeline and gas line, near potential sources of fires and explosions. Methods of calculation of effect blast wave and heat radiating. Bases building constructions and statics, their prevention, protection and reinforce against select types of extraordinary events. Working with harmful substances. Characteristics radiating accidents, breakdowns and nuclear safety. Quantities and units used at evaluation radiating accidents. Methods and facilities for measurement of hard radiation and steps of radioactive contamination. Fundamental of protection food strings against contamination radioactive materials, inclusive sphere of action organs state supervision. EU Legislation on the field of labour protection. Legal regulations. Duties of employer and employees. Evaluation exposure of working system. Danger in select working activities. State special supervision on labour protection.

Course curriculum

13 lectures per 2 periods.
Diversification in various sectors of economy, potential sources fires and explosions. Design method effect blast wave and heat radiating. Bases engineering construction and statics, their prevention, protection and hardened site against select kind of and types of specified undesired incidents. Working with harmful substances. Characteristics of radiation accidents, disasters and nuclear safety. Quantity and unities used at evaluation radiation accidents. Methods and devices for measuring initial radiation and level of contamination. Principle of prevention food range before contamination radioactive substances inclusive sphere of authority organs of executive agency. Legislature EU on section labour protection and risks. Legal regulations. Duties employers and employees. Evaluation exposure system of working. Danger in select working activities. State professional inspection whereupon safety at work.

Aims

The aim of the course is to provide students with identification problems safety in industry, agriculture, transport and services, legislature, discretions and duties employers and employees, safety and hygieny at work.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Lessons are reported in terms of regular study during semester. Students are taking part in excursion in nuclear power station Dukovany and industrial works. In terms of assembly are organized individual and collective tuition to the extent 1 lesson every day.
