Studio II - Environment - summer

Students develop their experiences from practical subjects and interconnect them with the knowledge gained from theoretic areas and technology. They are assigned tasks which they perform with respect to their individual talent and disposition.

Course curriculum

Fourth semester: installation
a) object and its space
b) movement in space and its processual aspects
c) presence - identification of space, place, environment, dimension, description, meaning
d) installation and relations to rituals, architecture and communication
e) practical creative stays in the selected environment /country, gallery, public space/
f) medium and installation

Aims

Students of both bachelor and master study programmes should gain experiences, knowledge and skills necessary for the fulfilment of their individual artistic position in the academic environment, but mainly for their future artistic practise.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
