The course provides the opportunity for 2nd year PhD. students with hands-on teaching experience; the content of the course depends on the individual topics of their studies and research.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Enhancing the stedents' knowledge of the current art scene, both in its practical, theoretical, and methodological approach. They wil also learn about the proces of writing a dissertation thesis.

Education in art, basic experience of the art practices.

A block of lectures and seminars, in which several PhD. students will present 3 - 4 ot their own topics.

We will deal with art which touches upon the borders of processes synchronization, with art as a play with communication rules without and aims givin beforehand. We will deal with communication without rules, or rules which are being created every minute, here and now. I am interested in the position of an artists who is standing in between, who uses direct speech.

Students attending this course will have the opportunity of confronting current art issues seen through the prism of active creative strategies; at the same time, they will learn about current Czech and international artists.
