reconstruction of classical black-and-white photographic still life: Sudek, Svoboda, Funke
practical workshops in the studio and the darkroom
photographic reconstruction of classical colour still life

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will acquire the essentials of classical and digital photography, they will be able to document their artworks themselves, and potentially use photography within their own art projects.

students have to have mastered technical and technological essentials of classical and digital photography

Aims

Students will acquire wider orientation of technical and technological elements of classical and digital photography.
Students will learn the essential theory necessary to master the B&W photographic proces (negative - positive)
They will be able to distinguish between the basic types of cameras, choose the appropriate camera for the particular task.
The subject will introduce them to the basic theory and practice with digital photography.
