This paper presents an empirical analysis of intra-industry trade, i.e. the simultaneous exports and imports of the same statistical product group, in Poland's agricultural and food foreign trade. The share of intra-industry trade increased from 0,38 in 1993 to 0,5 in 2000. The analysis reveals that the intra-industry trade share in Poland's total trade is still lower compared with European Union countries.
