Original Abstract

Early warning system of roofs overloaded by snow has been developed. Methodology of inverse analysis implemented in the system is based on combination of artificial neural network and stochastic analysis using small sample simulation technique Latin hypercube sampling. Input information is measured data (stresses, deformations) obtained from monitoring system (sensors). Verification of the system was done for various types of snow load distributions acting on analyzed roof – snow removal, snow-drift, etc.

Keywords

Early warning system, snow load overloading, inverse analysis, artificial neural network, load identification.
