Original Abstract

The basic principles of low power design are presented in this paper. The crutial power dissipation modes are mentioned as well as principles of decreasing their influence by suitable design. At the end some units of measure to quantify a Figure of merits for low power circuits or systems comparison are introduced.

Základní principy low-power návrhu jsou uvedeny. Kritické výkonové módy jsou zmíněny strejně tak jako principy snížení jejich vlivu na návrh.
