Original Abstract
This paper focuses on verification of properties of concrete with cement CEM II/A-LL 42.5 combined with an addition – fly ash. The standard EN 206-1/Z3 defines the k-value concept for additions of the second type for replacement of water cement ratio and for requirements of minimal cement content for Portland cements CEM I, CEM II/A-S, CEM II/B-S and CEM III/A. EN 206-1/Z3 Specification, performance, production and conformity defines no value for CEM II/A-LL. If the k-value has to be used, it has to be determined in accordance with the procedure given in the Appendix E of the standard E 206-1/Z3. In this paper, the k-value concept for cement CEM II/ALL 42.5 R Prachovice and fly ash Opatovice is determined.
