In view of the steadily growing importance of the distance and lifelong education, the application of information technologies to the teaching and learning processes has recently given rise to a new concept, namely, the eLearning. This papers is intended to show how these and related topics are being addressed by the Department of Physics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC), Brno University of Technology.
