Original Abstract

The presented work is aimed at the study of the low-cycle fatigue of the Inconel 713 LC cast nickel superalloy at temperatures 23, 500, 700 and 800 °C. On the base of the fatigue behavior in low cycle area the lifetime curves of the superalloy were plotted. The morphology of phases existing in the superalloy and structural changes occuring during the low-cycle fatigue loading were described by means of the light and electron microscopyobservation. For the description of the mechanism of the low-cycle fatigue damaging of the superalloy the microfractographic analysis was used.
