Original Abstract

Heavy metals can exert detrimental effects on human and animal health and on the environment. Their ecotoxicological properties are generally well known. The metal bioaccumulation levels of mushrooms have been studied very intensively. Many mushroom species are known as cadmium, lead or mercury accumulators. Consequently, these different edible mushrooms were analyzed and the amounts of metal elements in fruit body of mushrooms, especially hazardous metals using for example as catalysts of (Pb, Cd, Cr, Fe, Sn, Al and others), were determined by method ICP-OES.
