Original Abstract

We can more and more frequently come across the algae growth on the external surface of insulated facades. The algae vegetation occurs on objects with external heat insulation already in the first years after building completion. Algae cause mainly aesthetic degradation of the object appearance and also hold water on the surface and increase corrosive load of surface layers of an insulation system together with co-action of microorganisms.
