Original Abstract

The efficient and reliable application of the non-linear fracture mechanics models depends on the successful fine-tuning of corresponding material parameters. Fracture energy is one of the most frequent parameters within the field of numericla modelling of advanced cement-based composites. The presented paper deals with aspects of modelling for the elimination or capturing of size and geometry effects of a three-point bending tests of a specimens with a central edge notch on the value of fracture energy.
