V EU se průběžně zvyšuje poptávka po nových ekologických materiálech na bázi rychle obnovitelných přírodních materiálů. Uplatní se nejen v oblasti nových, nízkoenergetických a pasivních staveb, ale také v oblasti staveb stávajících, zejména při jejich rekonstrukcích. Oproti dnes běžně používaným izolacím tyto přírodní izolační materiály vynikají svými akustickými vlastnostmi, které lze optimálně využít také pro izolace do plovoucích podlah.

Currently the EU is continuously increasing demand for new organic materials based on rapidly renewable natural materials. The application of these materials is not only for new, low energy and passive constructions, but also in existing buildings, particularly in their reconstruction. Compared to commonly used today, the natural insulation materials, insulating their outstanding acoustic properties, which can be optimally used for the isolation of the floating floors. The paper deals with a comprehensive assessment based on the insulation properties of industrial hemp, which can be used in the construction of floating floors, especially in terms of acoustic performance and then also in terms of total utility generated by the following features floating floors.
