Original Abstract

The economic crisis is currently topical theme. Its consequences affected the activities of most companies around the world, and particularly the national economy has undergone many changes. Global crisis and its repercussions are being discussed in this article, in which is conducted the survey among small and medium-sized enterprises (family enterprises). The survey is aimed at smaller businesses and their perception of crisis (how they felt the effects of crisis in their work, if they had to limit or cancel their activities, etc.). In the article is used a questionnaire survey method, which is evaluated and presented by using graphical methods. The article introduces new pieces of knowledge in this field. From information obtained this way the conclusions related to the given issue are drawn. The main output is a comprehensive overview of the consequences of the economic crisis that hit small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic, based on both existing data and our own - new data.
