Today, most hospitals in the Czech republic use PACS (Picture archiving and Communication Systems) locally, seclusively from each odher, to store and evaluate video data produced by various modalities.This image informations is avialable only within a given hospital. The goal of the MeDiMed project is to create shared outsorced medical multimedia data archiving and communication centre.
