The paper describes a modern data acquisition station (DAS), which will serve as a smart data acquisition system capable of storing and presenting measured data over Intranet/Internet. The described data acquisition system will serve as a public monitoring system or as a part of measurement system in a technological process where it will allow collecting data from sensors located on rotating parts or places that are difficult to reach.
