Original Abstract

At the present time GPS technology has been used as an aid for finding the optimal route to the des- tination by plenty of drivers. Lately the research has been focused on the development of smart navigations that could optimise the trajectory of the drive in dependence on external inuence such as the traffic concentration, the accident circumstances etc. To predict such situations, it is inevitable to know more precise data concerning the current vehicle position and the continuous drivers behaviour. The article describes one of the methods that makes possible to detect electronically the drivers intention to change the route for consequential optimalization, eventually to detect vehicle position in localities with weak or no GPS signal.
