Original Abstract

This paper is focused on optimized design of a transmission pole from spun concrete. Optimisation is based on minimisation of amount of reinforcing and prestressing steel lengthwise the pole in accordance with ULS and SLS of the EUROCODE design code (price of the materials taken into account). The paper contains the definition of basic algorithms of the proposed solution and outputs from solved examples.
