Original Abstract

Presented paper deals with the problematic of easy on-field, fast and low-cost monitoring of species or elements contained in biological samples and/or environment. For this purpose the screen-printed thick-film electrochemical sensor with embedded micropotentiostat have been designed and used for determination of cadmium and led in aqueous solution contrary to toxic mercury drop electrode and big scale measurement devices that are usually used for such analyses in laboratories. The micropotentiostat is controlled by a personal computer. It provides the same measurement methods like big commercial laboratory devices (CV, DPV, etc.). The advantage of such microsystem is that the noise ratio caused by leads is reduced because the low signal from the electrodes to the micropotentiostat is not transmitted through additional wires or connectors. Presented microsystem has been used for detection of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions in this work. We were able to determine units of uM of the metals.

Příspěvek se zabývá problematikou jednoduchého, rychlého a levného monitorování látek nebo prvků obsažených přímo v biologických vzorcích a/nebo životním prostředí a to přímo v polních podmínkách. K tomuto účelu byl vytvořen tištěný tlustovrstvý elektrochemický senzor s integrovaným mikropotenciostatem. Ten byl použit podobně jako toxická rtuťová kapková elektroda společně s velkými laboratorními měřicími zařízeními pro detekci kadmia a olova ve vodném roztoku. Mikropotenciostat je řízen osobním počítačem. Umožňuje použití stejných měřicích metod jako velké komerční laboratorní přístroje (CV, DPV, atd.). Výhodou takového mikrosystému je snížení šumu způsobeného přívody, protože malý signál z elektrod do mikropotenciostatu není přenášen dalšími vodiči nebo konektory. Uvedený mikrosystém byl v této práci použit pro detekci iontů Cd(II) a Pb(II). Byly jsme schopni detekovat jednotky uM uvedených kovů.
