Original Abstract

The paper deals with the design of controllable frequency filters of required properties. Based on the form the denominator of a transfer function, or the form of the characteristic equation, a suitable M-C graph with chosen active elements is defined in a few number of steps. As an example, a structure with three electronically tunable current conveyors ECCII is presented which in the current-mode realizes a high-, low- and band-pass filter. The properties of the described functional block enable a mutually independent control of quality factor Q and characteristic frequency f0.
