Original Abstract

This contribution describes post-discharge process such as recombination, v-v and v-t processes, energy pooling and other energy transfer reactions. Moreover, influence of various impurities on post-discharge in pure nitrogen plasma is discussed. Possible applications of post-discharges and active pulsed discharges in the combination with the post-discharge are outlined in the paper.
