Original Abstract

The paper is concerned with the theoretical fundamentals of the fuzzification of random events and probability. A random event is defined by means of the fuzzy set as a fuzzy event, and the fuzzy probability is defined by a fuzzy bunch of probability measures following the Zadeh extension principle. The basic properties of the fuzzy probability with regard to the operations of complement, intersection, union, product and sum of the fuzzy events are introduced. Further, independent fuzzy events are defined and their properties are investigated.
