Original Abstract

The steady Navier-Stokes system with the stick-slip boundary condition is discretized by the mixed finite element method combined with the numerical approximation of the boundary integrals. The Picard iterations linearize the convective term while the semi-smooth Newton method treats the non-smoothness of the stick-slip boundary condition. The inner linear systems are solved by the BiCGSTAB algorithm with preconditioning. Numerical experiments demonstrate efficiency of the proposed method.
