Original Abstract

This work focuses on the preparation of a printed oxygen indicator for smart food packaging. The oxygen indicator is based on the titanium dioxide photocatalytic reduction of a dye and its subsequent color change after exposure to oxygen. This indicator could detect packaging damage by sensing oxygen ingress.
