Original Abstract

Industrial networks are used to control and manage critical operations. Because of the need for high reliability and availability of these devices, computational and communication limits must be identified. A large number of available tools are used to flood a selected node without obtaining feedback. In this work, a tool capable of generating a gradually increasing workload and identifying bottlenecks in terms of the amount of communication is presented. From the output of this tool, it is possible to define severity levels with a link to other devices to prevent the device from crashing.
