Original Abstract

An up-and-coming solution to energy crisis and fallout of greenhouse gas emissions is using the most extensive available renewable energy resource, the Sun, aiming at light-driven photoproduction of clean fuels, carbon dioxide reduction, or organic pollutants degradation. The research presents the novel efficient synthetic paths for side-chain implementation using linear, branched and polar side-chain-substituted uracil moieties for flavin derivatives synthesis.
