Original Abstract

We introduce a chip calorimeter with a sub-nL enclosed space and demonstrate the calorimeter for the thermal analysis of a nanofluid of gold nanorods (AuNR). This is the first account of a calorimeter chip being utilized to measure the thermal characteristics of a nanofluid. The measured specific heat and thermal conductivity of the nanofluid are in line with the reported values.
