Original Abstract

This paper compares results between real linear synchronous motor and its digital twin. These days, digital twins are very important for developing new machines. Achieving accuracy using the finite element method is possible, but the time consuming does not allow real-time simulations. Digital twin in this paper is based on mathematical model include thermal dependency. Input model parameters are commonly specified in motor datasheet or simply measurable. Real motor is load in different operating points for the for better model quality evaluation. The structure of the control loops has a significant influence on the digital twin response, therefore the design is based on the used motor driver.
