Original Abstract

This work is focused on the study of the properties of organic semiconductors suitable for applications in bioelectronics. The materials will be prepared and studied in the form of thin films and hydrogels. Attention will be focused on materials based on PEDOT:PSS, or on analogous materials with suitable counterions. Methods of preparation and stabilization of materials will be investigated. The basic properties of the prepared materials will be studied in detail with emphasis on their electrical properties and biocompatibility. The goal of this work is to characterize and optimize the studied materials in terms of their possible use in bioelectronics.
