Original Abstract

In this contribution, we discuss characterization of a new hydrogel based on polymer composite PEDOT:DBSA. For this purpose, strain sweep and time sweep test were used to characterize the hydrogel rheologicaly. To investigate the hydrogel electrical properties, impedance spectroscopy was used. To reveal the biocompatibility of the hydrogel, standart LDH cytotoxicity assay was conducted. To determine whether this material has a surface suitable for cell adhesion, the lyofilized samples were investigated using SEM. As results shows, hydrogel based on PEDOT:DBSA possesses suitable electrical and rheological properties and a very good biocompatibility and therefore is a very promising material for use in bioelectronic applications.
