Original Abstract

A two-level hierarchical structure with multiple anisotropic microcellular channels inside a single printing line was created using 3D printing of semicrystalline poly(lactic acid), its saturation in subcritical carbon dioxide, and solid-state foaming in a heated silicon-oil bath.
