Original Abstract

The work deals with the creation of a testbed for the virtual commissioning of a PLC system. The testbed consists of Unity, a virtual PLC, a Rest API server and a C# application. The production process is simulated at Unity using a Siemens virtual PLC. The data is sent from Unity in JSON format to the Rest API server, where it is read by a C# application and the program is modified if necessary. After editing, the simulation restarts. The testbed is intended to optimize the PLC application, i.e.crisis treatment, collision avoidance and line tact reduction.
