Original Abstract

During research and other various occasions, between 2010 and 2019, measurements of water flow rates and consumption were taken in selected apartment buildings in the Czech cities of Český Těšín, Bohumín and Brno. These measurements yielded data that was comparable with the outputs of several foreign researches. Using the established data, a new computational relationship has been introduced, which can calculate the water flow in apartment buildings and is now being verified. Furthermore, using measured values, it is expected that several calculations of daily and hourly water requirements in apartment buildings can be specified.
