Original Abstract

Good mechanical strength of gel polymer electrolyte can be achieved by adding nanoparticles. Generally, the addition of nanoparticles into polymer electrolyte system slows down the re-crystalization kinetics of polymer chains and reduces the degree of crystallinity. This reduction in crystallinity in turn improves ion transport in the composures. The addition of nanoparticles can improve the conductivity of electrolyte due to the ion interactions and increases the ionic trasport at room temperature. Due to this addition, the potential window of electrolyte increases too.
