Original Abstract

Příspěvek představuje nosné konstrukce objektu Sono Centra v Brně, který byl navržen jako reprezentativní stavba nahrávacího studia Sono Records s víceúčelovým využitím (hotel, restaurace, parkování, nahrávací studio, koncertní a divadelní sál). Podrobně je popsáno konstrukční řešení nahrávacího sálu, který tvoří architektonickou dominantu celé stavby. Tento hlavní dilatační celek je tvořen železobetonovou skořepinou ve tvaru rotačního elipsoidu umístěného mezi dvě vícepodlažní budovy.

English abstract

The article presents the bearing structures of the Sono Centre building in Brno, which was designed as a representative building of the Sono Records recording studio with multi-purpose use (hotel, restaurant, parking, recording studio, concert and theatre hall). The constructional design of the recording hall is described in detail as it forms the architectural dominant of the whole building. This main expansion unit consists of a reinforced concrete shell in the form of a rotating ellipsoid placed between two multi-storey buildings.
