Original Abstract

Concrete producer´s experience shows that the development of concrete properties (concrete strength, volume changes of concrete) can be quite different from that presumed by the designer according to the standards for designing concrete constructions. The results of the experiment, which verified the time development of the compressive strength, tensile strength and relative shrinkage of concrete intended for precast structures, are presented in the article. The results of the experiment are compared with the calculations according to EN 1992-1-1.
