Original Abstract

The aim of the paper is to describe procedures for systematical determination of susceptibility and immunity of lamps to supply voltage variations in time and frequency domains. One of the analysis results is a modified concept determining light sources susceptibility to such disturbing type based on frequency components utilization. Further a complex measured data file of susceptibility curves in various combinations of fluorescent lamps and ballasts are pointed. Measured and compared combinations include various types of fluorescent lamps, various wattages, modes of operation of the ballast and its specific designs and dimensioning of circuit elements etc. Experiment results are oriented to utilization for lighting systems design and for determination of basic procedure for possible immunity increase of current lighting systems.
