Original Abstract

In the paper, we present a circularly polarized textile antenna designed for ISM band 24 GHz. The antenna consists of a ring slot element with a cross slot inside the ring element, and a substrate integrated waveguide feeder. A 3D textile material plays the role of the antenna substrate. The top and bottom layers are anufactured from a self-adhesive copper foil, and sidewalls are sewed by a conductive thread. The antenna has been designed for ISM band 24 GHz. The gain of the antenna is 5.12 dBi and the circular polarization bandwidth is 285 MHz.
